Sele Mduda talks about Wakandi’s journey in Africa

Wakandi was launched in 2018 as an initiative to improve the way money and money transfers are handled in Africa. Our mission was to offer a completely cashless experience by building innovative financial solutions. We developed Wakandi’s blockchain-based infrastructure to support payments and innovation. Moving further, we released the first beta version of the infrastructure in Africa in early 2019.

Now, a year later, we are working to develop and launch our product which aims to improve the speed, security and effectiveness of the financial services. We call it Credit Association Management System or CAMS. The system will help thousands of informal financial groups (IFGs) to provide savings and loans services digitally.

Know in detail about CAMS.

We are moving ahead to the final phase of the development of CAMS. It is a great opportunity for us to talk about Wakandi and the CAMS solution we are building. Here’s our Key Accounts Manager, Sele Mduda, in an interview talking about how the idea of Wakandi came into existence and its journey towards a scalable solution.

As the festival season is around the corner, we would like to take this opportunity and thank you for all the support you have given us throughout the journey. The whole Wakandi team wishes you a merry Christmas and a very happy new year. Stay safe!
